Done deal to Liverpool. Great business for them, he's a player I really like, and think he will get better and better.
I was hopeful that Spurs might be in for him following the rumours, though I'm not totally sure where'd he'd fit in, as I guess his best position is similar to Eriksen? And I'd say at the moment Eriksen is the better player. So I guess Lallana isn't the type of player we need right now. Doesn't stop me being a bit jealous though....
Lallana's a scouser

Well he's one of those players in the category below the type of players the top clubs are looking for, as with the majority of Liverpool signings, but even at their level they can unearth a talent like Suarez, so I will reserve judgement on Lallana for now.

Coutinho is vastly over rated by the Mousers, as we know anybody who scores a goal or makes a nice pass is immediately world class in the eyes of most Mousers.

Eriksen being overrated a lot here.
He will come on to be the better player, but no doubt Lallana had the better season.

did he?
pretty sure that game for game eriksen's stats stack up.
then you consider eriksen was at a new team in a new league and had plenty of injuries to worry about, i think there is an argument that eriksen had the better season all things considered

Injuries should never be an indicator of a better season, a player who plays more games contributes more, so Lallana's fitness was a big bonus.
Plus Lallana was a star in an overachieving Southampton, as opposed to a star in an underachieving Tottenham.
Lallana was playing in a worse team and got better goal and assist statistics by the end of the season.
I don't want to take away from Eriksen, he had a great latter half of the season, and I think he will have a better season this time around. I just think his late form is skewing your judgement a tad.

lallana was a star in a team that won plaudits from all for their attacking display.
eriksen was a star in a team that was a total shambles under two managers who it seems didnt know their head from their arseeeehole.
lallana also had a settled team to play in, eriksen was playing different positions and with different players every game.
as i said before, all things considered, if lallana did have a better season it was marginal at best.
