Gave up on the BBC last year mate. It had gone beyond the humorous banter and just become a farce, got tired of reading the same people's same drivel everyday. Hopefully this won't go the same way.

Still slaving over the stoves at SWFC. Things got a tad hairy jobwise last year but seem pretty secure now that Mandaric has settled the club debts......gained a few more grey hairs trying to feed the corporate gluttons when all the suppliers had put us on stop!! Not sure about the Megson appointment but he's strangely held in quite high regard by the fans due to his playing days at the club.

You're welcome on our board anytime as far as I'm concerned, although I noticed you've already ruffled someone's feathers on there

i have a mate (owl) and he used to work for barnsley doin the scran for the corporate etc,he had a restaurant around there called armstrongs, know of it?
well he is around here doing fine,just opening another restaurant in a month or so.

Hiya Spanish, did a few stints at Oakwell myself some years ago..as I recall the kitchens were a bloody nightmare since they ran out of cash when building the new stand so the kitchen was crammed into an area originally earmarked for a disabled toilet!! Armstrong's rings a bell, if it's the one I'm thinking of it was in Dodworth and was quite well reviewed. Hope it goes well for him out there.

Mallorca, my lad is a very disgruntled Blade after last season's debacle...I'm sure he'll still turn up at the lane every match though next season, he seems to have inherited his old man's propensity for years of pain and anguish following his team
