Didn't he try the same thing when he was negotiating with RM? He was asking for €7m and ending up getting €5m or thereabouts.

I think it's only an opening gambit, I doubt anyone would pay him that amount unless RM practically give him away.

Probably wants a new contract with Madrid so dying this as a leverage?
But there's genuine interest from Arsenal for sure. Not worth to be highest paid at the club but a 6 figure weekly salary is probably fair given his reputation and accolades

I agree, we should not be wasting all our wages on few players just because we can. Maybe Lars Bender would be better option.

Llars Bender would be a better option regardless of wage demands in my opinion. More of a defensive midfielder as well, which is what we're in the market for.

Tell him to feck off,a couple of good games against poor opposition don't make him a world class player,we can do a lot better for a lot less.

Do we have people to negotiate? He wants that much doesn't mean he will finally get it or we will pay that amount. Negotiation, do we know how to do it?
Ask Per, Ozil and Poldi to talk to him, sure he will lower his demands.
I hear people suggesting other options, but we should not let a player like Sami slipping away if he is available. Unless he is firm on 150k, otherwise "TALK" and "NEGOTIATE".

Wihshere, Wilshire who cares. Hes done nothing to warrant that wage apart from half a good season almost 3 years ago.
