Wenger on TF1:"i always wanted Nasri to stay. we failed to make him extend his contract but i think that deep down he's happy here."
"At the moment Nasri isn't leaving. it's political, that means he could leave one day, but it's far far far from being done."
"it's impossible to replace Fabregas by another Fabregas. We'll replace him by what we have: Wilshere, Ramsey, maybe Chamberlain"
"if big clubs are coming to us to buy Fabregas or Nasri that means they didn't find better than what we have elsewhere."
"we're still active in the french market but i can't tell you names because we don't want to create problems inside the clubs"
"i'm passionate and it excites me to swim against the current."
"we're the cradle of European football."
Some worrying comments there by Arsene. What do you guys think?

This is Bullsh it................
Because of his passed affiliations with French players people assume he just goes for French.
Last few buys
Chamberlain - English
Campbell - Costa Rica
Henderson - English
Gervinho - French league
Squillaci and Koss - French
Arshavin - Russian
TV - Dutch League
Its not all French......thats how I know above is a bullsh it story..............

Why do you think it is BS? TF1 are a French broadcast they probably asked him if he was doing any shopping in France. Personally think our best chance of signing players will be from the French league, most of the clubs there will sell if the right offer comes in. Not the case in Spain/Italy/England where nobody will sell so close to the transfer window.
Oh and Squillaci came from the Spanish league and pretty sure Henderson started his career with us!

Apparently Yann M'Ville is our number one target now and he plays for Rennes. So yes we are very much active in the french market. He won't solve our creativity problems but would still be a great buy.
Monotlivio also looks like a very realistic option as Fiorentina want to sell him abroad and Aquilani is off to Milan. He's in the last year of his contract so shouldn't cost too much either.
I still hope that we can get Hazard but not too optimistic on that front now as his agent doesn't rate us that highly and wants him to wait for a bigger club.
