Why can Wenger spend 12 million on a 17year old who has potential and yet can't spend 20mil+ on a full world class international?
You played well considering the large amounts of injuries and suspensions yesterday. By the way I was baffled to why Wenger took of Walcott to bring on Bendtner. I acknowledged that Walcott never had the best of games, but all he would have needed was one chance with his pace and he may have created something.
Good luck for the rest of the season, but if you don't sign any more players, it'l be a tough road ahead and I'm predicting we pip you for a CL place

15/20mil on a full world class international

Whilst Wenger is an idiot, name a world class international available for 15/20m? World class by the way is surely a player that is one of the best in the world in his position.

So you suggest leaving on a player who has did nothing the whole game, for the sole reason that he has pace? I disagree completely with that. Walcott is a player who needs to be rested a lot. This is evidenced by his poor performance against us.
A lot of people seem to point the blame at Wenger's feet, however does anybody know if he is allowed to spends big fees on players? Or does he have a system where he has to try bring in a lot of young players, hoping some realise their potential and some generating much needed funds?
I find it very strange that somebody of Wenger's intelligence, would receive 35m from the Fabregas deal and not replace him. So for me, the latter seems the most likely.

Been happening long before us and even Chelsea. Fergie won his first FA Cup with the most expensive team in English football at the time.

also funny wenger signs these young players when its he's last season in charge of Arsenal. He wont be there to see them mature, also a new manager would probably sell off most the these youngsters anyways.

Arsenal have never relied on World Class. Look at Eboue, Toure, Adebayor and the like - Arsenal have taken them and turned them into excellent players.

I doubt they'd be able to, unless a new manager wants to create his team in the mould of Wolves.
Bendtner is a very good player, is on the market and should have been gone from the club for a while, yet he's out there against Liverpool with the season 2 weeks old.
The most likely reasons for this are no-one wants to pay his wages and he doesn't want to take a pay cut.
When you join that little problem to what seems to be a reluctance by the board to authorise spending anything much over 15 million for a player, you've got problems.
So I suspect the youngsters will be staying, at least for as long as it takes them to impress a very wealthy club and/or run down their contract.
