Defensive Midfield should be the priority

We have Walcott, Giroud, Podolski, Sanchez, Campbell and Sanaogo all of whom can play up front, which I think is fine even with our injury record

We have goal scoring midfielders as well so does not surprise me that we are not in for another striker.

DMF, CB and GK please.

Will it be said that we didn't need a top drawer striker last season and don't need one for this upcoming season ?

We STILL need to raise our quality throughout the entire squad and need at least two or more top quality players to come in to achieve that !

No one said we do not need any more top quality players - just another stiker is not top priority since we have excellent goalscoring midfield options. Several of these MF players are also capable of playing up front. In fact I would not be surprised if Walcott does not get switched to CF on occasion. Priorities are IMO at least one quality CB and Defensive MF

The "golden boot" striker we require for Arsenal to reach the next level is not currently found at the club (and should still be sought), neither is the top class goalkeeper or the "world class" defensive midfielder. We are going to need these players if we are serious about significantly progressing from last season !

The AKBs will be out in their droves, hailing this news and fantastic despite 1 month or so promising that Wenger would bring in a much needed elite center forward

The rest of the league will be quaking in their boots with a forward line selection of Giroud, Sanchez, Poldi, Campbell, Sanogo, Akpom, Afobe, Theo !

Then again........

Are you on a wind up? Walcott ain't a striker and is injury prone, poldi doesn't get a game up front, Sanchez ain't a cf, sanogo is an utter joke and Campbell hasn't kicked a ball in England.
