Hi guys,
some interesting stats that I picked up off the interweb. Links are:

Shows how teams from the top 4 leagues compare in terms of attacking effectiveness and defensive effectiveness with combined stats that give a decent picture.
Attacking effectiveness measured as - shots taken per match / shots taken per goals scored / minutes per goal scored
Defending effectiveness measured as - shots faced per match / shots faced per goal conceded / minutes per goal conceded
Data to support City strengthening the defence this summer and why Chelsea have focussed on buying strikers.
Also interesting to see how we compare with teams across Europe.

Who is Levante's goalkeeper?

OK the real question is with 16 goals and 12 assists in 33 Bundesliga appearances last season, how did 22 year old Hoffenheim playmaker Roberto Firmino not make the Brazil squad for the World Cup?
And why is not every major Premier League club trying to sign him? x
