Thoughts on Radoslaw Majewski

Town have secured his services for a full season loan. He's a good player that maybe needs more game time than he has had at Forest. In my opinion, he's a great asset! Good bit of business by Mr Hoyle, try before you buy. 👏

What do you think? I also think that Clayton will be staying, so Radoslaw Majewski is not his replacement.

He can be both the best player on the pitch, being nippy with fantastic vision and finishing, or the worst, lightweight ineffective and wasteful. Sometimes during the same game.

Sadly somewhere along the way his confidence, or just his consistency took a knock. Hope he does well there but I think he's due a change of scenery and if Huddersfield does that for him, fantastic.

Monkey sums it up perfectly. He's a very talented footballer who needs a manager to believe in him and base the team around him in the playmaker role. If Hudders do that then they've got a great player. Good luck to him.

He has probably been bought on the strength of the hat-trick he scored against you a couple of seasons ago. And that was probably his best game for two years.

The vast majority of Forest fans would like it to work out for him. In his first season he was fantastic for us, but I think most Championship clubs may have sussed him out. He has decent technique, neat and tidy most of the time and likes to get the ball forward. Decent shot from outside the box, but gets frustrated at times.

Hope it works out

Majewski like many other at out club has suffered from a constant changing of managers, coaching staff and tactics. When he arrived at the club, he was on the verges of playing for Poland and he did look god. Having said that, some of my fellow reds have already covered it, he does suffer from lack of consistancy, the sort who can go missing when your backs are against the wall. Billy Davies was often angry with him because he didnt track back well and you wont see him putting a tackle in but going forward, picking out a run, and generally keeping it moving, he is good at. He needs a foil alongside him to bring the best out in him. Good luck to Raddy, always a popular figure at the CG and will get a warm round when he returns.

Agree with canigga, ok if you want to surround him with workers to get him possession. Too much of a luxury for us with better play makers such as Reidy and Lansbury.

Tackling was sometimes his issue. Likes the scything sliding tackle a bit too much! Luckily never connected with anyone that often.

Remember he did one of those cowardly sliders versus QPR?

I think Majewski is Ward's replacement, think he wants to play for a better club.

When he did it was pretty much a red card challenge, sometimes got one and others he occasionally got away with it.

Raddi needs fast moving players in front of him, he is capable of breathtaking defence splitting passes going forward inside the final third [ where defenders don't want to give away a free kick especially if you have a McGoogan or a Henri Lansbury/Andy Reid type player on the pitch who can hurt them from a dead ball situation]. He also needs space doesn't track back or tackle [he is a liability tackling and likely to get himself sent off as has been discussed]

Not a player to have on the pitch if your going to defend a One-nil lead. However if the right player's around him give him the ball and create space he will create chance's for fast moving strikers willing to run into space.

Needs to regain his confidence and get a run in the team, just don't expect him to tackle.
