US PGA

Hi folks,

Thought I would start a thread for the final major of the season. Welcome all your tips, comments and banter over the next 4 days.

Rory is the man in form, will he go out and dominate another field, or will the run come to an end. The likes of Sergio, Adam Scott and Ricky Fowler have been there or thereabouts in recent majors, perhaps its their turn.

And what of Tiger playing so soon after dropping out at the WGC last week, which was meant to put him out for weeks/months? A desperate move to return too quickly from injury, or can he pull off an amazing turnaround.

As an Irishman, I have backed Rory at the terrible price of 5s, and my more usual bigger priced picks are Snedeker and Woodland. I can just see Rory dominating another field, on a course that seems tailor-made for him. Wouldn't be surprised if Woods drops out again, and I honestly think he will do well to make the cut.

So let us know what you think, and it'll be good chatting to you all

Well done, Rory. You keep winning as long you remain celibate.

Amazing.

Only disappointment was the lips of Fowler and Weis-tria at the end. Other than that all I will say is Rory is the new Tiger. The modern day Nicklaus.

Even if he finished 2nd, I'd still say the same. The fact he can win 2 majors in the same year, in a row.. It's just nice to see him fulfill his potential.

His most satisfying win yet I'd imagine.

Most impressive win of young Rory's career so far. Showed, skill, bottle, determination, and the ability to remain in control when it mattered most. All the signs of being a truely special player indeed, and it's a case of maintaining desire and focus as to how many he will win.

See you all for the Ryder Cup !!!
