the oc (i think) is the former seahawks oc and that suddenly means gerhart will become the new beast mode. also, jags have nothing else going for them, so theyll rely even more on the run so gerhart will be running even more.
its usual pre season exaggerations because there have not been meaningful tests as of yet, or just to boost players confidence...
can you imagine the jags oc coming out and saying
"i cant believe what ive let myself in for. i went from lynch to gerhart. its like leaving your supermodel housewife that loves cooking for delia smith. sure she can keep the house in order and keep the food on the table but its not quite as good".

oh yeah, he was very good when he substituted for peterson at the viks, and they had nothing else to do but run. he will be very good especially to start the season. its just we havent got any stats to see how he does in week 13 after having 200+ carries behind him, and battered on almost 90% of them.
