Rumours on twitter that the big man is on his way to southampton after a fee being agreed between the two clubs in the region of £10m.
Really hope this isn't true but it most likely will be.

Guys
If nothing alters, nothing changes.
Let the guy develop the style - and some young players - then let him. If a few players don't / can't adapt, then so be it. Cemeteries are full of indispensable people, and if some so-called indispensable players don't cut it, then that is sad, but only sad. It's not the end of the world.

Neither is losing a few games. It's not an overnight project.

Good luck to your lad at Leicester. My other half is from there, so I'll hopefully see him on one of our visits in a few years' time in the first team at the KP!

If you ever need tickets for the KP let me know Dave.

It won't work though. Any good players will be sold as soon as possible.

Don't agree . The best managers set out their stall, they don't cow tow to players who ned to change. It's not as if we've been on a massive upward trajectory over the last few years. Quite the reverse in fact.

Cant agree more on the topic of trying to totally change the style of play weeks out from a season defining tie.
Would expand on that to say it is actually misleading to suggest there is actually going to be radical change. Least not before there is equally radical change in the playing staff itself.
Under Lennon when we came up against significantly weaker opposition we played some fantastic free flowing forward thinking fitba.
If Ronny thinks he can attack at will against decent never mind the better European sides then get used to results like the Legia game. They were no more than a decent side but we totally handed them the tie in the first leg.
If by seems from all the talk we are going to be set up as the team regardless of who we play that takes the game to the opposition and playing a counter attacking strategy as being alien we are fecked.

timmy,
"The barca tactics only work if your team is super fit and full of exceptional players. Everybody else has to just make do with what they have got. I don't think ronny understands this."

He should start as he means to go on, that's the Viking way.......................................... and if he needs to come back a bit, fair enough.
If he has to cow tow to the players and give up on his idea right at the start, just to get their respect then we are in a sorry situation.
A pragmatic Viking? . Don't fret, he'll have us pillaging in Europe, Ragnar Lodbrok style, soon enough.
