TOOR being the contrarian as always.

I thought Manquillo looked very decent from the snippets I saw. Nice to see some hunger at right back after so much watching Glen.

The lad had a decent game, nothing special. Made a few errors defensively and at one stage was diving in after losing the ball and failing with his first tackle, he dived in again. It looked rather amateur. People are going over the top here.

He was OK but nothing special and certainly nothing to whine about when somebody has the audacity to disagree with your opinion.

Well he didnt look out of place and didnt really do anything bad, same with lovren

Manquillo sounds like a B horror monster

Lovren was very good. There was a point early in the game when I had worries as I saw him racing with an attacker and he didn't look too quick but he was very good positionally and was good with the ball also. I also think he'll come straight in and need no bedding in period.

If Johnson had the game Manquillo had, some people would be whining about him. Some people have this obsession with kids whereby there are multiplied in quality according to their age and where older players have their quality divided.

Think it's the Football Manager game effect.

And some people don't but just think he had a good game.

I thought he had a good game also, however not as good as some think.

There is of course always the possibility that they are right.

Of course there is.

Why do I get the feeling you're not giving that scenario much credence.........
