Shearer moved to a top club, won them a PL, then doomed them to mediocrity by leaving them. The Venky's weren't blackburns downfall, Shearer leaving was.

The article mentions strikers, so shearer's got to be amongst the top few, or even 1 . . . . we've probably all seen him strike opponents more than anybody else has
He's the most prolific 'striker' that I've ever witnessed, and he's certainly commited the most violent act that I've ever seen on a football pitch . . . . Neil Lennon won't forget it
