Conformation if ever it was needed that you don't watch United play.

I have seen him take players on to get into a good shooting position a fair bit of late. Roma springs to mind,and he scoread a very similar one last season, taking players on at the edge of the box to make room for the shot.

Off the top of my head I can recall him beating 2-3 players then hitting the post, before the ball was eventually put in the net against someone in our CL group. Think it was an own goal but Rooney did all the work

Got Chelsea more points in the league than Jose's last two attempts and into the CL final, a feat the great Jose has never managed.

Stretty, I think it is a bit of a myth that he ever did.

He was never a dribbler, but he did have very deceptive pace early on, for his build.
