Just a top striker

Only a top striker signing away from a squad of genuine quality.

Moreno sorts out left back position and will make us much more balanced defensive unit.

If we get that striker in, we will be serious contenders again this year. Such a young squad aswell so it's only getting better.

Genuinely excited for the new season

I just won the treble with Liverpool on FM 2014.

It's ime for Brendan to move aside.

.... as regards the actual thread I agree, a striker and a reserve keeper and we are good to go. Coutinho, Sterling and Sturridge are going to rip some teams apart this season. Lovren is just what we needed at the back too.

Stronger squad
Weaker team

But losing Suarez would weaken anyone inc Barca, Madrid, city but that's how it goes. It's up to the players left and the new players to show they can up they're game and prove the "weaker team" comment wrong!

Think Huntelaar would be a good shout for us. Read yesterday in the Dutch press he only has 1 year left on his current contract at Schalke. Not the fastest, but he sure knows how to score.

A striker would be good but personally I am against a big sort of name like Cavani who would command a ridiculous fee and come with a big ego. Sturridge should be first choice and that is that. Give him the confidence to lead the line especially with the games to goal ratio he has. We need a striker who is content with sitting on the bench at times and can act as the foil to Sturridge either when injured or even together with two up top.

A back up goalkeeper would also do many nicely but it isn't the most important of concerns at the moment. Mignolet is very unlikely to miss a huge proportion of the season and Jones isn't as bad as made out. Our squad looks very good to be honest and set to compete on four fronts this season. Top four and a trophy will do me but even without silverware establishing ourself in the top four and giving some great performances in Europe will be very acceptable.

This sums up the lazy arguments going round predicting our demise and how idiotic they are.

What's this "weaker team" rubbish aswell?

You're a whole new squad away from winning the league not just a top striker.
