Palpitations (?) around the iPro as Derby prepare for their second home league match after the disappointing result against Charlton.
'Click' is the new verb resonating around the Derby faithful, as we seek to put behind us the less than fluent start. Do we play Eustace, knowing he is not a season long replacement for Thorne? Do we persist with Hughes knowing that the net loss to the team is greater than playing him in his normal position (or something like that)?
Start with Dawkins, Ward, Russell or Mascarell???? I think I'll leave Grant in goal....
Fulham - poor start and we are made for teams that have had poor starts/runs......they will be out to prove something....
Team News will follow (failing that, as usual, Mojaca will post it ... - please)
RUSSELL IN FOR DAWKINS
EUSTACE IN FOR HUGHES
Come On You Rams!!!

Have to agree about Ward MILF. Worked his socks off, had the Fulham full back pooing himself. Great performance.
Also noted was how easily Will Hughes destroyed their defence when he came on. Dawkins didn't do one diagonal run either when he came on. Thought we still gave the ball away too cheaply at times. Something we need to work before Ipswich.

5-1 was flattering given the game as a whole, but at least we know we can still click into unplayable mode when we have to.
Christie was solid again and gets forward so well, CB's still looked shaky at times whilst Forsyth was unusually quiet.
Eustace slotted in and fits the DM role like a glove until Omar is ready. No need to try Hughes there anymore. Bryson & Hendrick decent in patches, though still not quite 'at it'.
Russell had a decent first half but faded, though laid Ward & Bryson goals both on a plate.
Martin was excellent & Wardy unplayable. Good to see such effective cameos from Hughes & Dawks.
I'm making plenty of changes for Tuesday - Whitbread > Bucko, Naylor > Forsyth, Omar > Eustace, Hughes > Jeff/Bryson, Dawks > Ward, Best > Martin.
