Just some fun...which of the following transfer windows was a bigger letdown?
Expecting Mario Gotze and signing Thomas Eisfeld instead?
OR
Expecting a top striker, and signing Kim Kallstrom instead?
Which was a bigger letdown?

Kallstrom is definitely up there as one of the biggest let downs ever

Signing Giroud then selling RVP.

And then finding out he had a broken back...
chance at PL blown.
We could have got 87 points last season with a class striker.

Well to be fair, the broken back news didn't really affect our PL chances. The lack of striker definitely did though

Hah you people are amateurs. I remember the first deadline day I followed. It was September 2008. We had just lost two of our best players in Hleb and Flamini. Nasri was signed to replace Hleb but a Flamini replacement was desperately needed.
It was deadline day. I had hockey practice after school so was pretty exhausted and went to bed early. All the while I was imagining the amazing players we were signing. The likes of Felipe Melo and De Rossi were suggested. I couldn't wait to see the new Arsenal players.
When I woke up in the morning I immediately opened the BBC website only to find no trace of transfers whatsoever. A quick look around and there was no mention of Arsenal at all. No involvement. No Flamini replacement
