This is a great piece on William Carvalho

What do you guys think, should we be in for him? I personally have watched him play twice and on both occasions he has impressed me, although I know you can't judge a player based on 2 games I think if we don't get Vidal or De Jong in,Carvalho is someone we should seriously look at bringing in.
He seems to be very highly rated by those that have watched him on a consistent basis.

it would probably make a big difference having him in Midfield, like when we first got Carrick he made such a difference in his first few seasons

He's the tall Makelele.

looks like we got blind so would be nonsense to get carvalho, I guess

Depends if another midfielder leaves, with Cleverley looking like he's off.
If Anderson and, or, Fellaini leave then signing him would make sense.

LVG wants him to replace De Gea

Can see LVG getting Blind for time being and then going for Strootman in January or next summer

i think Arab made a post on the press conference thread yesterday that the club briefed the media beforehand that there was no interest in Carvalho or Vidal

If he doesn't go anywhere, this summer.... I think we might have wrangled first refusal on him as part of the Nani loan.
As much as I admire the player... Another season at sporting, with CL football, would tell us a lot more

He'd be here if moyes was still manager
Now we have to put up with Dutch garbage
Seriously though, if not Vidal, then this guy could complete a brilliant summer for us
