It seems Agger is heading back to Brondby.
If true, farewell to a loyal servant to the club. He may have has his injury problems and had the odd dip in form, but his commitment to the club has always been there. I'm sure he would love to have stayed, but I guess BR has made it pretty clear his future lies elsewhere.
I'm sure a host of premiership clubs would have been interested, but fair play to him on not wanting to play for another club and going back to his home club.

Agger to brondby...

Agger has said that in the past 12 months he has found it too hard on his body to be playing in a league as physically demanding as the Premier League. He's also said he only wanted to go home if he was to leave Liverpool.
An absolute legend for his loyalty in my eyes, wish him all the best. Hopefully he'll be back in some coaching role in the future.

Too often we moan about players not showing loyalty but the flip side is you also see players who have been great servants get cast aside when they become surplus to requirements.
Arsenal have been really good to Diaby for example they stuck by him for so long they deserve allot of credit for that many clubs would have just got rid.
I'm glad we are doing this for agger, 3 million is a tiny fee for a player of his quality but realistically brondby couldn't afford a price we may have been able to get elsewhere we'd have easily got 8-10 million I'd say.
Things like this don't happen often enough as fans, we are all guilty of it at every club, we can turn quickly on players once we see a better player to come into his position, we start giving out about his wage or taking up room in the squad etc.
So it's good to see the club giving Danny the move he wants and good to see a club like arsenal doing all they have for Diaby.

That's not loyalty. It's ineptitude. Do you know Diaby is the longest serving player in the Arsenal squad? How the fack can an injury wreck like him keep getting contract extensions? Obviously sucking off Wenger.

One of my favourite players over the last 9 years.
Soon to be gone, but he will not be easily forgotten.

Could have been one of the best had it not been the injuries.
