Hi
Just wondered what your thoughts are on woodwards transfer policy are?
From an outside perspective it seems a bit ... Desperate?
I'm not trying to wum, honestly, but:
- paying more than you needed for Fellani
- buying Mata when you had a lot of no.10 players already
- being offered Falcao when many other clubs were offered him and paying club record wages
- buying rojo even when there are known complications on his WP
- not addressing the balance of the squad, buying a WC defender and midfielder
Thoughts?

Goat, I agree with all your points. And yet I'm strangely unbothered.

He's given a list of targets, he gets them done. He's now a King

I'd say you have to give credit where it's due and acknowledge that he has made some huge signings. Who wouldn't want Falcao or Di Maria? His job is not to identify the players but to get the deals done once the manager has done this. In that respect he has done very well this transfer window. Rojo situation will all be sorted this week so no problem there.

Here, here!
Except the Falcao wages. I haven't seen confirmation of anything. Just rumours of 200k a week, standard for World Class players in the Oil Era

Loads of rumours around that Monaco are subsidising his wages. Could really be anything around 150k-200k a week.

Depends where you read with the Falcao wage.
In terms of Woodward, I'd say the same as I thought last week in that I don't really understand why he would deserve criticism or praise, he's just done his job as he should do and none of them have been difficult negotiations with the selling club, if anything the opposite.
