clubs on 14 was gash, absolute gash.
they removed the ability to see how many players were on the opposite team before a match.

if there was two of you playing, you would be put against 4,5, 6 ,7 ,8 ,9, 10, facking 11 players and you would have no control over it. pathetic decision from EA.
clubs gets worse every year.

Pretty sure you could limit the number of players you wanted to play against. Perhaps it was the ability to set a minimum.

You couldn't limit it at all.
It had the minimum setting, for what reason i don't know, but no maximum setting.

Every Fifa that comes out they remove something from clubs that ruins it even more.

First it was the option to see what level pro they had, then it was the ability to see what position they play in, in 14 it was the option to see how many people you're against.

I rarely played in big teams, I always only played with my other friend so there was two of us and EA removing those 3 things was pretty much a game breaker for me and mainly the reason I sold FIFA 14 straight away as I just couldn't enjoy Pro clubs on it, went straight back to 13!

In fairness they did it to stop teams from running away as soon as they saw a big club. I don't blame EA for trying to promote games that contain lots of players (although they should really have better server to cope with it...). Although I did it a lot, playing a clubs match with just two people didn't really feel right, it's definitely an experience intended to have as close to 11 as possible but it was never happening because teams were running away at the sight of having to face 6+ pros.

I think they tried to promote 2v2 by having head to head seasons with a friend to compensate for the lack of limiting the number of players involved.

I get your point, but they completely disregarded players like me, and I am sure there were a lot of us.

Why would we want to play a club with 6+ players?

They could have given the option to select how many you want to play against, stupid decision from EA.

The 2v2 head to head season wasn't the same as both players controlled the whole team whereas in clubs one person had control of the team and the player was in control of his player only or you could let the CPU Control it and play two upfront.

As I said, I sold my FIFA 14 because of what they did to clubs and I am sure I wasn't the only one.
