Was at a pub quiz all evening.

The interval coincided with about 50 minutes and I wasn't surprised to see us 1-0 down - although others felt Saturday's performance heralded great things, amongst the clear desire to pass more at the back, I saw a distinct lack of ability to unlock defences going forward.

So, come the end of the quiz, I checked my phone with a heavy heart.....

Fantastic result! I can't quite believe it. Would love to hear more about how we played, whether we deserved it (the stats imply that we may have robbed them), who stood out, who under-performed.

Happy to admit my pessimism about the result was completely unfounded.

Let's hope my pessimism about our owner, his next choice of manager and his methods is equally unfounded. At least the management have produced a squad capable of winning - for that I'm grateful.

Great evening. Please can we have some more?

tedd, easily second best throughout the first half, but from some good keeping might have been three down, much better second half comfortable but not looking like scoring until Doukara's goal (he looks a great find up front). Interesting that Eddie was asked who was man of the match at the end of the game and said "of the outfield players...." indicating Silvestri was easily the best player on the pitch from either side.

The Adryan thing is quite understandable, he is being blooded into our game. He has seen/is seeing the way this league is. If we threw him on now, then it could be to soon and ruin his confidence.

Cellino sees Adryan as his boy, so he would not allow Redders to freeze him out. I would bet he will bring him on for his Elland Road debut against Hudds if things are going ok.

Completely agree with Mike.

Adryan being handled well. 2 difficult games and he's been involved with the squad. He needs time to learn the league and watching from the side will aid that, granted not as much as playing it, but no point in bringing him on for the sake of it.

Cellino hasn't brought him to sit on the bench, but he has to merit a place in the team.

I expect to see him play on the weekend.

Cheers for feedback; definitely looking forward to seeing the highlights!

You're probably both right Mike / Rogan.

Was just the way Redders was talking him up, everyone was expecting him to come on against both Brum and B'mouth.

Hopefully we'll get to see his worth on Saturday at some stage.

Their was no need for Adyran to come on. We were in control, playing well and needed to keep it tight. Id give him 45 against Huddersfield though. Would take Sharp out and play Adyran in behind the front two. Cook and Sloth and the middle with Austin or Bianchi holding.

Mike Forza Leeds

Of course he could do a u turn and give Adryan the number 17 shirt, change the kit to purple and sell him to Fulham on Sunday...!

I don't think he will of course. That would be silly.
