This is what I reckon is happening:
I think BR is concentrating on the Champions League and not the Premier League.
I'm basing this on the fact that he rested Sterling against Villa before the Ludogorets match, and the fact that we haven't been in the CL for like years and we see the competition as our baby.
If 'tis true he's misguided, but I can see why; and when you think about it we made a better start than Chelsea, City and Arsenal, by winning (performance wasn't great).
Just hope it doesn't come back to bite us on the 'arris. We need to defend better against Real Madrid, would you not agree?
To his credit, though, at least he knows we were potato blight yesterday, unlike Hodgson would have done. Hopefully this will sow the seeds of some method in which to improve on our rubbish start; like taking a leaf out of Leicester's book.

BR as you say can see how bad we are, that's the only thing that I'm ok about.
Last game of the season this year if you win you'll get 4th spot or get beat and you'll go down. It will be the poorest ever 4th place side. Utd, us, spurs all look abysmal. Everton could get 4th no problem.

Or maybe he rested Sterling because he'd played two games for England.
It's called not wanting to burn out a 19 year old.
You are one serious dripper. You and TVJ should get together.....

Burn out a 19-year-old.
Right.
A 19-year-old who, in the absence of Sturridge - and let's face it, Balotelli, who tends to go missing anyway - is the only goalscoring chance we've got. OK.
What's it going to be like when he's 25?! How old is Gerrard, remind me? Not that Sterling will be playing for us then, mind you...

Full marks to West Ham, a well-deserved win. I'd rather these problems surface now rather than at the end of the season when it's squeaky bum time.
It's all about confidence, and while our team took a knock yesterday, after today's results, whither ManU, or even Spurs??

Incidentally, Balotelli shouldn't have taunted united: people in glass houses and all that, but then look at the abuse he got when they railed Suarez after the Evra affair (talk about hypocrisy...)
