FIFA 15 is class

Got it today and it is great. Only noticed minor changes so far, but ones that make the gameplay so much better. Menus seem to be better too. Worth the money for me.

Yes it would appear that they have added the ability to play with a guest back in. I presume that they removed it as some people didn't like to play on their own against 2 players. Now they have added back in with the option to filter out opponents with a guest if you wish to. Seems like a good move to me.

And yes, the gameplay is faster. You feel like you have more control of the player at all times and less like it is 'on rails'. The players react better and the ball mechanics are much more realistic.

As I said earlier, I have always been a huge Pro Evo fan, so for me to be endorsing FIFA in this way is a big change. But it is easily the best footy game I have played.

Not really seeing how there is any difference between FIFA and Pro Evo in terms of simulation right now

what?

You honestly think that Fifa 15 is simulation?

For example:

In real life if a game is compact, the passing game requires a different physical approach .e more touches, turns, twists, shoulder barging etc.
In Fifa 15 there are no examples of this from the demo.

I played alternating games of both and Konami showed an very good understanding of this.

Pes has a more realistic passing system which factors the above into play, the pass is dependent on the balance and part of the foot the ball is played from. Fifa is truly a case of ping pong, where u only have 2 dynamics of passing. long or short!

Pes 2014 has something else Fifa does not, and that is proper first touch physics, where a visible stance adjustment in relation to the power of the received pass.

It just feels like the football u see being played on tv, methodical and genuinely intelligent.

Graphic, animation and the little case of player likeliness is better. imo of course.

p.s ive been a fifa head since 10 and HATED pes 2014, so to see what Konami have delivered with there first "proper" nxt gen effort is scary.

at worst Pes 2015 (demos) is a serious concssive punch to the jaw of Ea`s tracing paper product.

imo of course.

I haven'd had a play of the new Pro Evo, so will have to take a look at the demo. It will have had to have made some serious ground up though for me to be even close to the new FIFA, but I hope you are right.

I am guessing that you mean that Pro Evo has gone back to a formula that worked in the past? But I haven't played the new demo yet.

ahh ok im with u now, well yes the demo is imo the pes of old, but obviously a next gen version. Pes fell from grace, because it tried to be something it wasnt, tried to be too clever.

It seems with this game, they have stripped away all the nonsense of the last 8 or so years.

However i will still wait a month after release b4 buying.

Sounds like a good move for them. I will certainly give the Pro Evo demo a go - I didn't actually know that it is available for download. My mate's job gives him access to games at reduced price and all the lads have chipped £10 in, so I haven't really paid any attention to the demo of either games. If I had been paying the full £50 or whatever it is retailing for then I'd have given it some more thought, but for £10 it isn't even worth thinking about. Especially as Pro Evo isn't out until November? If Pro Evo gets better reviews then I am sure that we will all be happy to chip in again.

Not gonna buy it till it's half price in Christmas. EA are like apple release same old shít just different version. Except apple have android phones ready to kill them any moment and EA is a one man competition nowadays.
