If applied to my team this season it would mean we would not have 6 first team players crocked.
It would mean that RVP, Di Maria and co. played 38 games for us.

According to the website soccerbase.com the net spending of the last 5 years reads

Man Utd - 301 million
Chelsea - 264 million
Man City - 237 million
Liverpool - 152 million
Arsenal - 84 million

Considering the top 3 teams in the league have spent so much more than us, I'm amazed we did so well last season. Especially when we started so much further back.
