It's being reported that Lucas is looking for a new club due to a lack of playing time. No grudge will be held by me personally and I don't think that anyone can deny him this. He's been a good servant although his injuries have taken their toll on his performance, I always admired the lad.
Remember his terrific performance at Stamford bridge and he was being compared to Mascherano which was a little pre mature but never the less, he certainly had a good game in him.

Best player in Rafa's final season, like Martin Kelly I think he had great potential but was ruined by injuries. A real shame.

Just shows what injuries can do to a player.
Debate on here used to be who was the best DM in the league : Sandro or Lucas? Injuries destroyed them both.

Decent servant who was never that good but stood out when we were utter bilge.

With the none existent shield our midfield provide to our defence Lucas may still have a part to play.

Lovren is making individual mistakes per game. The midfield can't do much about that .
