Outrage

why is there such an outrage over refereeing decisions?

Penalty shout for that foul against Ivanovic is marginal at best. those kind of things happen all the time, only reason it got so much attention was because similar pen was given against Shawcross on saturday. Other than that Dowd issue stupid yellow cards for both teams. Yellow against Rafael is one example.

Refereeing decisions marginally favoured United but why is this such a big deal? why is it such a hot topic? Its on Sky, Its on MOTD, I bet it will be a major talking point on MNF tonight.

Ref made few errors but those mistakes were nothing compared to that mistake by Clattenburg which lead to leicester's second goal when we play them. That was arguably the biggest refereeing blunder so far this season. It cost us the match.

Did media create such a big noise over that decision? Did that become a major talking point in every football show on TV? NO

Why all these refereeing decision that went in our favour get all the attention while any decision against us go unnoticed?

Can anyone explain this

The sending off was extremely harsh to be fair. I don't think Ivanovic deserved a booking for either of those infringements.

I also think we got lucky on that pen incident. You do see it happen all the time but to have two players blatantly fouling opponents in the box at a time when that sorr of thing is under the spotlight is very rusky

agreed to some extent busby, that's why I think Rojo's was the one to point to the spot for.

It's sometimes really hard to tell whos grappling who when 2 players tumble over like Ivanovic and Smalling.

But Rojo had him in a headlock. It wasn't really sublte. WWE highlights.

Yeah it was blatant, but you can't see what Terry is doing before that. He may have been pushing Rojo backwards but the camera only shows from the point in which Rojo brings him down.

If Chelsea got the decisions United got yesterday, United fans would have been demonic. That being said, I don't see why there should be any outrage, Chelsea deserve the worst things in football to happen to them. The ref should have been applauded if anything.

Put simply - United on balance deserved something but we could have had ZERO complaints had we lost.

The red I can only assume was for an accumulation of fouls - no way was the second incident a booking

on balance you played probably the best I've seen you play and never gave in

really good result

Absolutely, he should have been sent off after 70 minutes, I'm amazing he was still on the pitch, not to mention his hilarious dives.

I don't know, as mentioned chelsea should probably of had a penalty, and the free kick at the end was soft, I agree.

Other than that, what went against Chelsea? The numerous professional fouls they were not even booked for?

I don't understand how anyone can say the free kick at the end was soft. Ivanovic clearly, beyond doubt clipped Di Maria's heels to bring him down, it was a clear free kick & stopped Di Maria putting a cross in. Surely you are not seriously suggesting a free kick should not have been given. Only Ivanovic knows whether it was accidental or a cynical trip, so a 2nd yellow was not harsh as far as I'm concerned. The first yellow if it was for the foul then it would be harsh, however Gary Neville suggested it was for dissent, in which case there cannot be any arguments about it.
