Only 3 points....HOW!

Hope you're all well.

I just wanted to mention something (in a bit of a Got Better kind of way).

I can only remember us playing well in 2/3 games this season and 10 games in to have less than 1.5 points a game is quite embarrassing...

However, we are still only 3 points away from the champions league spot

Bar Chelsea (and currently Southampton) I can't see any other team who looks like winning more than a couple of games in a row!

So despite us being absolutely woeful and having the defensive ability of Djimi Traore's nan we are still well within a shout of getting up there.

I just hope Sturridge hits the ground running when he gets back and we buy what we need in the January window.

Is there any other team that deserves to be in that top four?

Keep hoping!

Pedro has played nearly 500 mins for Barca in the League this season.

Why the hell would they sell him, and why the hell would he leave, and even if he did leave, why the hell would he come to us ahead of likely other offers?

(Ignoring the fact that he isn't a striker)

25 x 5 minute cameos ? he score 0.3 goals per 90 minutes > then Borini at Sunderland on 0.29

There's a reason he didn't start many games.

He isn't about to come to us and start scoring every other game.

It's a balancing act between a kick up the bum and destroying confidence completely.
-------------------------

These footballers need to man up. It's not like you really hear of a 'confidence' issue all the time with rugby players.

These clearly overpaid prima donnas need to take responsibility and put in 100% every game and not be such pansies on the pitch. Fight to win the game like their life depends on it, where did those footballers go??
