Ronnie should definitely be up for SPOTY. Has he ever been nominated before? I watch a lot of sports but can't think of anyone who has mastered their craft to the level Ronnie has. Most non snooker fans don't realise how hard the game is unless they've played it which is probably why he doesn't get the recognition. Seeing Ronnie at his best making it look so easy is amazing to watch. At one stage it looked like he wouldn't get more than 2 world titles and massively underachieve in his career, nobody expected him to come back lile this a few years back.

Yeah that'd be great. I was looking through the draw and there are some great matches in there. I might even see if I can grab tickets because £15 for one session is good value I feel.

I've booked Monday 19th January off work because I start at 8am. The final is the say before just done that so I can enjoy the final without worrying about being up early for work following day especially if the final finished beyond midnight.
