Show and Henry start off but Henry stays in his corner, and Triple H and Stephanie stay on the apron and HHH gives Henry a pep talk. Henry gets all fired up but Show just knocks him out, and makes the quick cover as HHH angrily looks on. Rusev comes in and kicks Ryback a few times, then he hits the ropes but Ryback hits a spinebuster and a Meathook before calling for Shell Shocked. Ryback lifts him but Rusev floats over, then Kane kicks Ryback in the face and everyone ends up brawling. The ref tries to regain control but Rollins hits Ryback with a Curb Stomp behind his back, then Rusev superkicks him in the face and makes the cover.

Rusev goes outside and takes the commentary tables apart, then he drags Dolph onto one and climbs on the other. Rusev runs and tries to splash him but Dolph rolls away, and Rusev crashes through the table alone and the ref counts him out.

Dolph narrowly makes it back in the ring and Kane tries to chokeslam him, but Dolph floats over and tags Cena into the match. Cena hits a side slam and Five Knuckle Shuffle, then he calls for an Attitude Adjustment but Rollins runs in and clobbers him with a Curb Stomp. The ref checks on both men and Harper and Rowan tag in, then Kane tries to chokeslam Rowan but Rowan fights it off. Rollins connects with a kick off the ropes and Harper hits a lariat for the next fall, then Show ends up knocking Cena out and watching the next fall! Show shakes Triple H’s hand and walks out, then Kane pulls Dolph in the ring and he, Rollins and Harper take turns kicking him.

Kane sets Dolph up top but Dolph shoves him back and splashes him, then he connects with a quick kick and a Zig Zag for the next fall. Harper runs in and kicks him in the face, then splashes him on the floor before he powerbombs him, but Dolph still kicks out and HHH flips out. Harper tries to left him up but Dolph catches him with a schoolboy rollup for the surprise pin, and Rollins gets in as an irate HHH looks on. Rollins stomps Dolph and whips him on the floor, then he throws him into the barricade and rolls him back in the ring. Dolph almost steals it with a roll up before catching Rollins with a DDT for two, then Rollins kicks him and connects with a buckle bomb for two. Rollins heads up top and punches Dolph when he tries to cut him off, then Rollins goes for a Curb Stomp off the ropes but Dolph sidesteps and hits a Famouser for two.

Dolph goes for a Zig Zag but he has to fight Mercury and Noble off the apron, then Dolph hits Rollins with a Zig Zag but HHH pulls the ref out of the ring. Mercury and Noble attack him but Dolph ends up fighting back, and he whips Noble into Mercury, who inadvertently hits Stephanie on the apron. Rollins catches Dolph with a buckle bomb and calls for a Curb Stomp, but Dolph sidesteps again and hits another Zig Zag, but there’s no ref. A new ref runs down but HHH breaks up the pin, and he repeatedly punches Dolph before he drops him with a clothesline.

HHH picks him up and hits a Pedigree, then he calls for his own ref but a crow is heard as the lights flicker, and STING makes his WWE debut! HHH looks shocked as Sting makes his way to the ring, and he lays out the Authority ref before he has a staredown with HHH in the ring. HHH circles him a few times before finally taking a swing, but Sting blocks it and kicks him before taking him out with a Scorpion Death Drop. Sting walks over to Dolph and drapes his arm over Rollins, then walks out the original ref counts the final fall and Team Cena wins.

Winners – Team Cena
(Sole Survivor – Dolph Ziggler)

On the other hand, if Taker vs Sting did happen, the streak wouldn't be a factor so maybe it would be more unpredictable because surely Vince wouldn't let a WCW legend ever end the streak!

Good point, but surely megabucks Sting will have only signed after cast iron written guarantees, possibly even Hogan-esque complete character control?

On another note how great is Mizdow? Is anyone more over than him at the moment?

He can thank Miz for that. I've never liked The Miz, but I will say if anything else he always tries his absolute best to get everything pertaining to him over as much as he can. He's basically put his own character on the shelf for a bit just to help out Sandow, a rare show of selflessness in a business commanded by egos. You can see how much his crowd psychology skills have improved in this angle as well

I think Sting vs Triple H will happen at RR and Sting will get his match vs Taker at WM31 in his home state.

Is Orton genuinely injured or something? Was surprised not to see him in this match considering it was in his home town.

Sting vs The Rock at WM

Orton's off filming the next WWE Films flop, hence how they wrote him out of the SS.

From Wrestlezone:

Based on their run-in at the end of Survivor Series last night, speculation is that Sting might have his first WWE match against Triple H, reports PWInsider.com.

As of this past Friday, WWE officials were still planning to do a Sting vs Undertaker match, and while the previous feeling was Sting would only wrestle one match in WWE, it looks like he might actually end up wrestling a few matches, at big events and on special occasions.

There’s no word on when the Sting vs Undertaker or Sting vs Triple H matches will take place, as they could end up taking place before and/or at WrestleMania 31.

Sting’s current run with WWE will likely see him end his career and then get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
