I expect Chelsea match hard v Newcastle

I expect match of Chelsea match versus Newcastle to be a very close match with team winning it by the odd goal.I am afraid that Chelsea might lose this match but I am hoping that I am wrong and I have predicted that Chelsea will win 2-1 at Saint James Park.
We will miss Matic but I think that Schurrle should play instead of Willian as he offers better goal threat and I think that Remy should play on the right and Fabregas should play as a number 10 player with Mikel playing as a defensive midfielder!
Does anyone agree with me?

Our match against Newcastle feels destined to be our first defeat of the season.............if we actually win I will be ecstatic..

Just been chatting to a Toon mate of mine, he’s not very confident going in to this game. Apparently they’ve got quite a few out, he’s predicting 0-3 although I think he’s being a bit pessimistic.

Expect to see Mikel start since he got minutes mid week. Straight swap for Matic is what I'd predict although I'd prefer a midfield 3 reinforced with Ramires as well.

Definitely looks like it will be a tough one, I hear Collocini is back for the game, here's hoping he's a bit rusty.

Yes I liked that substitution, got Mikel some minutes in preparation with the game won and protected Fabregas in one move. I agree we may see Ramires start too which would suggest a change of system as I can’t see him on the right in place of Willian at Newcastle.

Ramires hasn't even been on the bench for the past 2 games, so I wonder if he's still getting over his injury. He scored in his brief substitute appearance against Schalke, but since then he's been missing. I hope he is fit, because without Matic I think we will need his tackling and running and pace in the middle of the park. I don't think Mikel and Fabregas are tenacious enough together to dominate the midfield.

I think he may have aggravated his injury on return, really not sure on his fitness. It is his running more than anything we’ll miss in a game such as this, a little less subtlety to his game shall we say.

we certainly won't miss his lack of ball retention...

Can't see us struggling. Newcastle play attacking football at home and that will suit us just fine. We'll counter attack them all day long
