after 6 games...is LUFC good enough..?

so after 6 games, is LUFC's performance good enough to sustain a good challenge to gain the very least a play off position at end of season...?

I believe we do have a side good enough to challenge...wh have some injuries to key players, and quite a few new faces in (not just new players), that need time to bed in, and get used to each other.

I think as the season goes on we will get stronger and stronger, remember its basically a new backline, currently a new frontline (while becchio is out), and nunez and clayton in midfield.

Give it time and we will definitely be up there.

I'm with Lurker on this one. Let's look at things after 10 games. West Ham were supposed to be favourites, & in some respects will remain so depending on who's still there on 1 Sept. Leicester have spent shed loads but aren't exactly setting the league alight.

As someone once said, its not a sprint. Its 46 games. Southampton have started well, but would they have looked quite so good on that opening day if OB hadn't gone walkabout? What would have happened had the ref so poorly intervened against 'Boro?

Norwich in 2009/2010 had picked up 4 points from four games and look what's happened since, as the song goes: it's not where you start, it's where you finish.

What offends me about this article is that surely it should be entitled after 6 games...are LUFC good enough? not is good enough, I am not a Daily Mail reader but it really gets my goat when football pundits refer to Leeds (or any team) in the singular

LeedsLuvver and Fortress Elland Rd

As far as I can see the only opinions LIW puts on here are negative ones. Constantly belittling the team and the manager is not supporting the club and inexcusable after the recent massive improvement. Yes, there is still much to do, but focusing on our first two games is ridiculous and I for one prefer to be optimistic, not miserable.

The defence is not good enough.Clayton has made a big difference in CM but its a long hard season and he needs help (not brown)
Best wingers in this league.
Ross and Billy are great at missing chances.
