Gentlemen and some very welcome Ladies,
Many of you will have noticed two things in recent months.
1. A recent brilliant 666 post concerning our last night's opponents.
2. Many fewer 666 posts
The first of these phenomena can be attributable to an ardent desire on his part to win POTY. Good luck to that! It was certainly a good post.
The second however, is undoubtedly down to the fact that he has been busy advising his true friend Nigel in his striving to turn around the fortunes of Sheffield United.
When Nigel took over more than a year ago United were well mired in the 1st Division relegation zone. Now they are in the play-off zone and also in the Semi Finals of the League Cup. Given that we all, especially 666 know Nigel is useless as a football manager, 666 has had to devote much of his time to providing Nigel with the best strategic and tactical advice on how to run his club. I'm sure we, and United fans will see that the advice has been well received and acted on. So the recent relative silence on these boards from 666 has been well worth his efforts and I'm sure Nigel really appreciates it.
He Has Been Very Busy,

oh, hang on... here's another wisdom pearl from Peeder to go alongside his "Chris Martin is overrated garbage" gem.
It's like getting palliative care advice from Harold Shipman.

"Nigel is doing a great job at Sheffield"
I wouldn't say he's doing a great job. Any half decent manager should get Sheff Utd promoted out of that league, he's doing average at best

Play-off contender and League Cup semi-final is not just average. Getting out of any league is hard because there are 20 odd other clubs trying just as hard.

I remember saying a couple of years ago just as QPR were on their way down that Hill would e a good signing....folk on here were saying he was too old, chasing him was showing little ambition....
Hill played with a mate of mine at QPR. He is retiring at the end of the season. He will be 37 in Oct. He has no intention of moving his family from London where he's lived for the last 8 years. his kids are settled in schools down there.
