Has anyone else had problems with their ps4 suddenly turning itself on and ejecting their game disc? I've had this several times now and it's really annoying me.
Won't let me put a disc in either as it think there's one still in there. It works again when I unplug it at the mains but I shouldn't have to keep doing this

Yeah I've just done that. Also wiped away the dust from the power and disc eject button

Good advice from melton, your obviously not supposed to have these problems if they persist take it back and get it replaced (if new) or call sony.

Amiga,
If its a defect, it is actually protected for six years by UK law which supersedes the EU one.

Well it hasn't turned itself on or off by itself but it did eject the disc whilst playing dragon age. <although I think there was a bit of dust still on the eject button as it was okay after giving it another wipe
I think I may have chucked the box away aswell

If you take off the shiny panel, there's an auto eject screw. Tighten that up a touch
