The players looked like they didn't have a clue as to where they or their team mates should be,out muscled, out jumped,no ideas, and clueless from the bench...They never looked like they could win the game from the start, and looked defeated as soon as the own goal went in....That's not from anyone except the coach/training and each individual on the field. It seems like there is no leadership on or off the field.....Luvr,.I think we are all wondering what the heck is going on,but a footballer doesn't become so bad because of what's going on in the boardroom....It's about motivation,tactics,pride/faith in your and your team.We have been witnessing the same problems for a decade now. It's not a new problem because Cellinos here,we have spoke of the same problems before.

Leadership on the pitch and on the touch line is key.

That's what's missing. I've listened to and read comments from the real experts not the self-appointed ones. Most have cited that this is a very young team in need of leadership and some experience.

Bring them in during the next window and I think we can improve. Redfearn needs to work hard and not believe his own hype. I'm not sure we've seen the best formation or selection from the players we have.

Stevie .I know that last night looked bad,but it would not take a great deal to put things right, attitude and faith in your own and team mates ability..We have already seen that there is some good football can be played by some of these players...It's confidence, coaching and training that gets results on match days not people in the boardroom....The same people that say it's Cellnos fault, would certainly not accept a bad job from a tradesman of any kind doing a bad job,and then saying,Well I performed badly or did a bad job because there's one hell of a fight going on in my companies boardroom.

If you are sold a dud vision and have no faith in your colleagues and teammates to do the basics, nearly every player loses the desire to put in 100%.

There are two players who can be singled out as continuing to show the requisite qualities, warnock and cook. The rest are on the floor.

Where is Glen Hoddles faith healer?

Players are mercenaries these days loyalty comes from youngsters wanting to prove themselves and being grateful for being given a chance, more so the local lads.

I don't buy the dud vision more a lack of consistency in team selection and tactical issues etc.. When you're up against it the whole world is against you and Lady Luck seems to disappear.

Bring some experience to the table and then see how it changes the atmosphere. McDermott bought two relatively useless players in this time last year and then dropped the player most likely to benefit.

We can't afford to get this wrong this time around.

Get it right and ER will be a happier place. Feck it up and I'll be questioning wtf is going on.

Long .It's up to the coaching staff sat watching the games and training to recognise which players are under performing or not up to the job required,or which ones need some attention....Or even change the tactics to suit the players you have,if necessary.

Typical Luvr, all substance no point!

We are on the verge of league one and he still won't have a bad word to say about Cellino! Embarrassing

geldered,We were in league one a few years ago,and it wasn't Massimo Cellinos fault. All these problems have been with us for years. The only difference is they are trying to be tackled a different way...None of us know if it is right or wrong yet,but nevertheless the problems have been constantly with us.

Is the diamond such a winner, that Hockaday, Darko, and now Redders won't and wouldn't change it? And why is Bellushi undroppable?

posted on 31/12/14

Bywater, the diamond isn't their system to change, and it won't be the next bods either!..

Kev, there's a way of sorting the backroom out, and there's a way of sorting the team out!..

The same as there are people that know how to sort the backroom out and there are people who know how to sort the team out!..

Our problem is we have someone who thinks he can do everything, even though there are people better at both then him!..

He should give people a chance but at the same time set the right people on in the places they should be!..
