Afternoon all,
I was just wondering what hidden gems you found gaming wise in 2014.
These don't necessarily need to of been released in 2014, just that you started playing and discovering them.
I have invested/lost so many hours in Diablo and Destiny this year that I have missed a lot of good indie/arcade games
My gems for 2014 were Battleblock theater (release 2013), Ticket to Ride (2008), Dungeons & Dragons Chronicle of Mystara (2013), Don't Starve, Hotline Miami(2012) and Terraria(2013)
1 game I haven't played yet but can't wait to is Lumino City, would be nice to have a console release for that though.

Really recommend playing the Yakuza games they are really good Y3 & 4 are on PS3

Can I ask something.
How do you invest time in Destiny?
That game was terrible or am I missing something?

The story line wasn't up too much but I had 3 other mates who all got it on release and we just played through the whole thing, although that was after many, many hours shooting at a cave to level up and get good items.
Had more to do with paying so much for it I was determined to get at least my money's worth.
The storyline is poor and the game failed on so many levels, but remove the hype from it and it wasn't the worst game ever.
Watch dogs was the same, if it hadn't of been so hyped up it would of been received quite well. But companies seem to want to hype up every game so much that they disappoint nowadays.
