You might not realize, but, when we play Blackburn at home it will be the 30th anniversary of the Bradford fire tragedy. On DATM there were discussions about this and how to mark it and the idea came up to get a banner made up to show on that game to show solidarity with the Bradford and Lincoln fans who sadly lost their lives that day. This then moved into an idea to set up a Just Giving page for the Bradford Burns Unit to raise funds for the vital work they do every day. Its such a great cause that I thought I would rattle the virtual charity bucket and say it would be great if people could donate.

We love the rivalry between our clubs and the banter is great but things like this matter more than any petty rivalry and bring us together as one. We want to do this as respectfully to the Bradford and Lincoln fans as possible and there was a lot of input into the idea before the page was set up.
