When Cellino appealed the original FL decision to disqualify him as a director, the PCC was chaired by Tim Kerr QC, who agreed with the FL's reasoning that the case counted as a conviction and that it would be treated as a disqualifying condition if the judge's written statement indicated that this was a case of dishonesty.

The QC was effectively agreeing with the FL's interpretation and dismissed Cellino's argument that it wasn't a conviction.

One would reasonably expect Kerr to reach the same decision again and now the judge's written statement is available I'm assuming would declare that the disqualifying conditions have been met.

I believe this is the reason that the club have asked for additional people on the PCC this time as they feel Kerr would not be supportive of their position.

Bearing in mind that the FL board voted unanimously to push through this appeal, which PCC members exactly are going to look favourably on Cellino's case?

Put yourself in FL's shoes. They have had nothing but trouble with Cellino. People say the FL needs Leeds but they don't. If Leeds got promoted, another club from Prem would replace them and FL would have less hassle and less court costs.

If Leeds were kicked out of league (don't think it would happen) another club would step up and replace them.

Just like no one player is bigger than the team, no one club is bigger than the league.
