Half an hour ago, on national radio, a sports journalist was in raptures describing a bit of golf news.
It seems Rory Mclroy hit his golf ball into the golf hole.
Now, I know a few of you on here have a love of the golf, I even have some bats myself, somewhere.
What surprised me was all the fawning and adulation just because Mclroy hit his ball where he should have.
Even though he's the best in the world, it apparently would normally take him three or four goes to get the ball in the hole.
Ffs, the hole is completely unguarded, no 'holekeeper'
to block the ball or anything.
If we can't produce better sporting role models than this, then we sre going to sea in a sieve.

I've actually been studying his swing in great detail and have watched countless slow-mo videos (with analysis) on YouTube.
It truly is awesome. Incredible strength, flexibility, athleticism and timing..
Not unlike 666's I'm sure
