Got to agree. Too many low life's get away with stuff when people turn their backs. To be fair, most people just want to get away from the stadium after derby day in case they are unfortunate enough to bump into those idiots that want trouble but still, These were a bunch of teenagers and I feel confident that once one person stepped in others would have helped.

But that's the point, Will, nobody did step in, even the guys that grabbed the video were chuckling about it as they watched, from the bits I could hear over their car radio.

Yeh I doubt they were filming it to send to authorities somehow...but at least it can now be used to help identify those involved

It also seems that our supporters may lodge a formal complaint about the stewarding (I think the picture has been linked to previously with the guy in a headlock)...

As I was with my 9 year old son and was attempting to get back to my car as soon as possible for the long drive back to Portsmouth, I can guarantee that I wouldn't have stopped for anyone or anything. I must have gone past his car unknowingly as that is the way I went.
The police charge us thousands to police this game and you are telling me they couldn't spare 3 or 4 around the West stand to ensure good order? I am paid to fight for my country, I'm not paid to do the police's jobs for them.

I think the point they was making Tomo is that some were happily observing and not even suggesting they pack it in. It's the world we live in these days

Given that the police would have been heavily concentrated on policing the South Stand and South East corner exits to try and ensure there was no trouble between rival fans as they exited their areas of the ground then no, I don't think they could have spared any cops to police an area where only home fans were walking.
The blue line is becoming increasingly thin these days when you hear about the hammering the Tories are giving them. Don't be surprised to see Group 4 policing on the cheap soon. You'll see a massive increase in incidents like the steward with the corn row hair giving people a beating.
