Lampard

Frank Lampard will always be a Chelsea legend, but today he is the enemy and we need to remember that! We can not make him feel welcome!!
He brought this upon himself. I can't understand why journalists keep saying he was not offered a new contract. The club clearly tried negotiating with him but our terms weren't accepted.
The media wants him to score; they need a story and more reasons to bash Mourinho. Singing Frankie's name in the game will make him feel welcome. He has betrayed us via dodgy means and represents a real threat from the only team that can deny us the title this season. I won't go as far as calling him Judas but he doesn't deserve a plaque and warm welcome like Drogba got with Galatasaray or Ballack...

I think Paisley has a valid and accurate point.

If you don't want rival fans making such comparisons don't behave like West Ham fans.

Lampard is a legend and we released him. What happens after that we have no right to vet or veto.

Lampard always performed well against West Ham when he was booed. I'd say it's more likely he doesn't score if we cheer him rather than if we boo him.

==================

No decent football fan hates someone who has contributed so much to the game in this country.

Whether he played for your side or not, Frank has always been a decent midfield player who scores goals too.

He's about to call it a day on his playing days soon, the least fans can do for him, is to respect the man.

It doesnt' stop you from cheering on your own team and players though

I don't believe anyone at Chelsea hates Lamps. I certainly don't. I feel let down with how he ended at City through a web of lies. I don't despise the media anymore than I already do with them stirring up a story. After the phone hacking, Hillsborough etc the vermin journo's can't sink any lower in my book. Going along with the story CFC didn't offer him a contract when it's well publicised they did confirms all I thought is true about them. We didn't offer Frank as much as City and he's taken a lot more money signing for them. I'd have no problem with that if he was honest about it.
Hoping he doesn't play. Rather he was given a round of applause than booed as it will make no difference to his performance either way.

We released him because he wasn't interested in a new deal on reduced terms, unlike JT!
