Thats what happened last season. Good finish but the loan players went back and everything was ripped up and started again in the summer.

Didn't think he was too chuffed with his overall performance and the first yellow card for Danns.

He thought our penalty was a bit fortunate as well though.

I was about to ask was the sending off a just one? But I fear Bolton under Lennon at Derby. I don't think it will be an easy game - and those are the ones we fall down on.

How is the cup game likely to affect the league game on Saturday?

Didn't think the ref was that bad. Nowhere near as bad as the clown we had against rotherham. In other news chris commons has got his 2 year contract at celtic so I guess he won't he signing in the summer.

Personally I think it was a just penalty and the ref was right to send off Danns. Just my thoughts from what I saw.

Justified in sending Danns off, it was a tackle worthy of a yellow no doubt. Its the initial yellow that was very soft in my opinion.

As for the penalty, I can sympathise with why Liverpool fans would feel hard done by as the contact was minimal. However if as a defender you make any sort of contact in the area you run the risk of conceding a penalty.

Danns made Durhams heads gone on talksport yesterday. The 2nd time Bolton have been on it this week.

We played ok,hopefully the Liverpool fans were happy and got their due rewards and justice.Because remember Heysel wasn't their fault,climbing fans into Wembley without tickets wasn't,Athens charging the doors with forged tickets wasn't.Poor Kevin Shields arrested for dropping a concrete slab on a waiters head,because no Liverpool fan would do that surely.Justice at last on Merseyside
