UK NRL franchise

The slightly eccentric Marwan Koukash is looking for a Brit franchise in the NRL:

Almost zero chance of that happening. The travel is the obvious killer.

But, this may be the start of something. Why shouldn't MK look at a franchise based in Aus but treat it as a nursery for UK players?
