Disappointing result and two points dropped for me. Everton were there for the taking and a bit more class and composure would have seen them off.
It's not often I blame the manager but I think Brendan got it wrong with the selection. I like Ibe but today wasn't the day to throw him into the starting XI.
We should have gone with two up top from the off. Sterling had too much to do when he received the ball.
And my main gripe was that we had too many engines on the pitch and not enough skill. Lucas, Allen, Henderson, Gerrard - yes they all have their attributes but today should have been a day to field a more skilful team.
Instead, we played too much like... dare I say it, Everton.
Now I hear a lot of praise for Sakho of late - but for me, he's just a big dosey defender. Sure, he's strong and at times look solid but I get nervous everytime he has the ball. Not the answer for me.
But hey ho - I won't just moan. Can looked impressive and even Mignolets claiming of the ball was ok. Other than that, the positives were few and far between.
With Arsenal dropping points and with some tough games coming up, this is a poor result and one which Brendan should have approached differently.

Really? Suppose that was shown in you battering us for the remainder of the game. All them shots you fired at us. The possession we couldn't get back. It was an amazing attacking performance from you lot. Martinez's philosophy is paying dividends.
