Such depressing news. Reminds me of when David Johnson knackered his knee at same end of the pitch back in about 2004. That was the beginning of the end of the Paul Hart era as they replaced him with Gareth Taylor who was an honest tryer but not in the same class. Freedman's task is made infinitely harder with the transfer embargo. Fryatt, Blackstock and Veldwijk between them have such a big challenge to replace all of those goals.

Hopefully Matty Fryatt can step in and get his season started, he's more than capable. Not so sure on Dexter, he's been away for so long, he's probably 80% rust... As for Veldwijk, he's "one for the future", but at Forest, the future starts tomorrow, 3pm!

Sorry FaF, Lars hasn't shown anything so far. From what I've seen, he is slow, has the turning circle of an overloaded oil tanker and really hasn't contributed anything.
I know you may say he needs a decent run on the the team, but we don't have enough games left to get someone "bedded in". We need players that will hit the ground running.
Just saying, like...

Very worrying for the lad. Just hope recovery isn't as long as Shaun Barker who had same injury. Fingers crossed and best wishes to Britt

Not sure it's the same as Barker. He had other injuries to knee too. Reckon 12 months could be a cautious prognosis. His captain will help him through it.

The reason Barker was as long as it was is because he damaged quite a lot of his knee whereas at the moment for Britt it seems he has one rupture as well as the dislocation, which is why they are saying twelve months right now.
