My apologies to Mayweather

I thought Floyd was going to continue to duck Pacquiao but fair play he eventually took the fight, albeit about five years too late.

I'm sure the millions he'll make from the fight made it that much easier to sign the contract though. A contract that in an ideal world I don't think he would have signed if not for the huge pressure by the public who were desperate for this fight.

Anyway I hope we get a good fight. I want Floyd to engage Manny in this fight. Not just clever point scoring from distance so that he gets the decision.

Floyd keeps telling us he's the best ever fighter in the history of the sport so he needs to convincingly beat Pacquiao to prove it

Mayweather vs GGG would make massive ppv numbers. Just as much if not more than a Cotto or Canelo fight.

Your talking drivel again. Cotto and Canelo bring in way more £££££££££££££££££££££££. Let me know when GGG has fought a PPV fight then comeback to me. And no it wouldnt be close to the numbers Canelo or De La Hoya did. Casual fans barely know GGG.

Pacquiao moved up from 112, and that was with weights in his pockets.

Pacquiao is moving up to Floyd's even though 135/140 would be better suited for him and is a half way point.

I guess that is what true great do.

Floyd has even said that he wouldn't be able to get back down to 140 and he hasn't been as light as that since about 2005 so I've got no idea why you're talking about 130.

Oh god now the fights on and people can't complain about that fans are arguing about which guy is the true catch weight king, both fighters have effed other fighters over with pathetic catch weight contracts for actual belts, no sympathy for any of them

If you hold a belt at the weight, you should fight at the weight, if you don't your clearly trying to gain an advantage over the other fighter cause you don't think you can beat him. Pathetic really.

Stop crying D4 and keep working on them excuses. Maybe you can come back as a Mayweather fan.

For the record, any fighter including May and Pac, who've fought for/won/defended belts at a different weight from which they were for is pathetic and should have been stripped/not been given the opportunity in the first place.

Saying that if golovkin comes down to 154lbs and makes himself mandatory floyd should fight him! And whoever said GGG sells more than canelo Oscar or cotto is deluded
