Said it at half time yesterday that Bamba is a man mountain but he will get caught out once in a while

He had a total melt down second half

It would be wrong to change opinions on bamba after one poor half.

Still think he is a good defender and still think we need him.


I think it would be worth a try, however the problem we have at the moment is we don't have the squad to give it a go.

Mowett plays there because out of our midfield he is probably the most versatile. Move him from the left side and cook, austin and Murphy would all probably struggle there.

Think that playing him as a snoddy type player might work, but you would have a proper left sided midfielder on the other side.

Shame that your logic doesn't account for the fact that Mowatt can't pass a ball 50% of the time.

Mowatt was poor yesterday and that's in regards to his general play, not just the simple pass he misplaced that led to their second goal.

Agree with that Matty, to me he looks like he could be a good, proper left sided midfielder.

I think we should play him there, and get a winger with pace to burn for the other side.

Mowatt has misplaced passes every game. Do people refuse to see this?

while I wont argue about about the percentage of passes mowatt completes, at least there'd be 50% of a pass finding byrams runs, right now there's a 0% with wootton at rb

and imo mowatt isnt good enough long term in cm, his lack of mobility means he'll never be above championship level (just my opinion) so I was trying to think of a long term solution for him, and just noticed the obvious similarities between the two players
