I'm not sure summer football would help. We had a run of 7 games with only home fixture, and the pitch was still shocking in the next home game - it just doesn't recover in the winter. Not to mention we'd have to have started our league in March to fit in all the games.

Now a plastic pitch on the other hand...

I'd definitely prefer plastic to summer. For one, I'm ginger, so to hell with going outside in the sunshine.

But more seriously, I don't think it'd be a good idea to be competing with The Euros & World Cups (except 2022, heh). It also gives us something to do over the winter.

Plastic pitches are bloody good these days. Played on the 3G at St. Andrews and it is lovely. Considerably better than the sandy 2G. Just checked my astroturf boots and despite it being probably 4 years since I played on one, they still have sand on them.

Ffs just watching the news and there's a wee clip from Glasgow of international women's day. It should really be called international look like Sam Allerdyce day. Buncha munters
