...is not like replacing any other manager in world football.
For 26 years he just didnt control the first team, he had a massive say in all the runnings of the football club, signings, what money to spend, youth academy etc. This isnt just like replacing a successfull manager, its almost like building something right from the start. Once Sir Alex stepped foot out of the dugout, we didnt just lose one man, we lost a way of working that club members had for 26 years.
If you look at it, Manchester Utd have been successful under two managers, two managers in over 100 years have brought us success..
....2 MANAGERS!!!!!!!
LVG is in his first season of English football and is being ridiculed something serious from our own fans. Unbelievable
Replacing Sir Alex

We did not play great football in Fergie's last season but won the title.
We are picking up the points and are not donating points to rivals with regularity like we did last season

Moyes inherited the champions and according to Robb had great players and spent 70m but took a team from 1st to 7th.
He did support that manager though. The one currently outperforming the previous donkey is his enemy.
Let us think about this logically;
1) Previous manager failed - support from Robb
2) Current manager succeeding - no support from Robb
Is that logical?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Current manager succeeding?
It's early march and our season is over.
Smashed out of the league cup by the mk dons 4 0
Struggled to the quarter final of the fa cup playing negative against Yeovil Cambridge and Preston and needing a replay to beat Cambridge, the lowest ranked team in the cup at that point. We finally draw decent opposition in the quarters and we cave in after having them on the back foot, at home, due to negative subs.
Excuses about jet lag after a good pre season which apparently was the reason we struggled against relegation fodder at the beginning of the season.
Not one team, possibly bar hull, well beaten this season home or away.
Approaching 200 million quid worth of attacking talent all underperforming at the same time.
Square pegs in round holes all over the place to try to implement a philosophy that is not working despite us having the players to play an attacking game.
No CL football to distract us, nor the league cup, nor difficult opposition in the FA Cup until we got dumped out, at home, against a side that has struggled against us at home for years.
No passion. No fluidity going forward whatsoever and we have the most expensively assembled squad in premier league history
40 million pound falcao playing for the reserves. 230 goal striker Wayne Rooney playing in midfield that took an injury to get him up top to replace a striker that has been stinking out Old Trafford for 2 years. Apparently, Rooney can't play up front, according to LVG.
We don't have a 20 goals a season striker.
Despite all that, I'm gonna stick with this manager because Of something Gary Neville said despite our manager doing things seemingly on a weekly basis that makes me want to rip my hair out (well, if I had any hair)
How anyone can say LVG is succeeding is beyond me. It's early March, our season is over, and we will, for the first time since the late 80s, go two seasons without a trophy
Last season was chit but at thus stage, we were battering Newcastle away and giving Bayern Munich a game at Old Trafford.
This season is worse for me. Sorry, I know that will be unpopular.
LVG succeeding so far?
Utter utter bollox

LVGs aim is to get us back into the Champions League, so far we are in 4th so at the minute he has succeeded, but its not about succeeding now so the discussion about is he succeeding is pointless, it will be about where we are at the end of the season. I dont want to see us sack managers season aftr season, unless i see a team on the pitch with absolutely nothing in them and that they dont give a toss i will not be campaigning for managers to be sacked.

Manchester United don't do 4th, or 3rd, or 2nd

I know its difficult watching us at the minute, and its not nice seeing other teams that have been looking up at us for years now looking down at us. But losing Sir Alex was never going to be easy, and now people are seeing its alot more difficult than even most of us feared.

Btw its Manchester Utd under Fergie that dont do those positions, as a club and its history we sadly do (with exceptions of Busby) but even he had his obvious struggles.

Busby set the blueprint for this football club. Fergie emulated it. We are about attack. Law best charlton Taylor violett. Cole Yorke teddy OGS. Ruud wazza cantona Ronaldo Beckham scholes giggs. Even under the doc, Pancho, Coppell Thomas, macari, hill.
Attacking players showing their style that helped to make this football club great
We now have a man in his mid 60s ripping all that to pieces to build the club in his own image when he will retire when he's done it.
Ask yourself, is that what you really want for this football club?
I don't.

Im willing to give the man a chance to build his own team and the way he wants to play, hes already said that the players pass it back to often and that their passing isnt quick enough, pbviously the team is not playing the football he wants just yet..

I'm at a loss explaining this football club
United fans are turning into gooners

We all want success for our club mate, but theres other ways round it than sacking managers.
