CL QF Draw Prediction.

Monaco and juve, this really was our best chance at semis in yers, just makes it more annoying that stupid 3rd goal.

Had the feeling we'd get Atleti. Obviously not the draw I was hoping for given our dismal recent record against them, but I suppose it's better than meeting Bayern or Barça right now. Happy we avoided PSG too.

Maybe if we can grind out the results against Atleti it'll give us time to find the sort of form we'd need to take on one of the others over 2 games.


Also, interesting that Monaco and Porto have been kept apart. Difficult to see either, not to mention both, making it further, but I still remember the last time both of them reached this stage and there were much bigger names in the draw.

When was the last time Barca or Madrid got a 2nd leg of a knockout away? Especially Barca swear they never do

erm...in both cases it was actually the last unseeded knockout round they've played.

Dnipro v Club Brugge
Dynamo Kiev v Fiorentina
Wolfsburg v Napoli

Juve and Arsenal are at a similar level and Juventus don't put many goals past teams which is our Scholes heel as our defence is not that good.

Juve would struggle to live with our passing game and I suspect we would eventually score more goals.

Monaco ought to have taught you that you can't win a tie until you've played it, and in this case in particular you weren't good enough to qualify.

TheGodfather in particular (who made the original comment) seems a consummate expert on beating teams on paper. No need to refer back to his now legendary thread on the first leg at the Emirates.

Europa draw was interesting, take it they won't cancel the final if it's Zenit v Kiev?
